This speed capability elevates them from a hobbyist item to a legitimate form of transportation.
In fact, some boards boast batteries that can run for up to 100 uninterrupted minutes.
The Motoboard wouldn't have been possible without the creation of two other inventions from the 1970s: polyurethane wheels and small industrial two-stroke engines.
It's also easy to cut into any shape or design the rider wants.
1. Check the condition of wheels to make sure it rotates freely before each ride Check the trucks and wheels to make sure all components are firmly tightened.
2. Do not ride the board if you hear any abnormal noise from a wheel or motor bearings
3. Always store your board in dry and ventilated locations.
4. Keep away from damp occasions to avoid damage to PCB boards and battery.
5. Only use a Koowheel Charger. Other uncertified chargers may cause safety issues. A battery should always keep in places where temperature under 60Celsius degrees.
6. Oil the bearings regularly
I was skeptical about it but eventually got convinced by their clean presentation. There was a little bit of delay, but I got mine recently. So far happy that I made the purchase. I am 220 lbs and ride it well with my body. I was confident to let my 10-year-old son try it, and he is loving it. I might get a Spectra mini for him.
Excellent board! Speed just as I need not too fast not slow, I'm 190lb pretty heavy :), for lighter dudes it'll get faster, getting 12-15 mph with no problem on fast mode and 10-12 on slow mode. Breaks very very smooth, it's not knocking you out of standing. Smooth accelerating as well.
The amazing battery I can ride for 2 days without charging about 13-15 miles. For that price is the very best you can get! Very easy instructions! Love it, love it, love it!!!
I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but my 47-year-old husband got this Lightning Longboard a few weeks ago... He LOVES this board!...says it's "scary fast"! The only thing he hates is that our teenager loves to borrow it way too much... says it's faster than the bus. Thank you for a great product and for making my husband (and son) so happy.
Awesome... really fast, I weigh about 180lbs. and it hauls a**.. this is my first electric board and I think price is great for the watts and dual motors which can easily cost over 1000$... haven't had the chance to test range yet but have road over 2.5 hours and still had a good 50% of bat left..haven't had it too long but everything works as described, very satisfied thus far,, will update if it craps out quick
I purchased this for my son and he enjoys riding it very much. This is one of the best gifts I have bought him. Affordable, safe, and fun for my husband as well. The board has many features including two modes. It's okay if you are a beginner starting out as you can set a limit to the highest speed possible. The board is splash resistant as my son loves to ride in the rain. The board charges fast and has high battery life.
What an amazing piece of technology. Really surprised with how light, fast and well built this skateboard is. It is not cheap but is totally worth it. I'm not an experienced skateboarder but found this to be very easy to ride.
This thing is a beast!! I originally got a Halo board and it cracked after a week so I sent it back and after a good bit of research and comparing I decided to go with Evolve. Definitely much happier with this one. The flex in the bamboo deck makes for a much more comfortable ride especially after far distances, the stiffness of the carbon fiber would hurt my feet.
The board looks great and rides great! I've had it for abt a week. I use it for the first and last 2 miles of my commute, before and after public transportation/bart. Supposed to have a cruise control function on the remote but haven't got it to work yet, need to figure that out. The weight is easy enough to carry on to the train and when standing up, it takes up very little space, unlike my scooter.
First off the building design is really solid and I really love the quality, look, and finish off the board. It looks very futuristic and I get a lot of head turns when I'm riding. The torque on this board is amazing, this thing really takes off. Top speed could have been a little faster but 20 mph is pretty good. The one thing I do not like is how heavy it is.
