Works as expected. Did have problems with fruit flies for a while, but got that figured out (more user error than the bin itself) I've already harvested some casings and was very surprised by the speed the worms go to town on my garbage.
Easy to assemble. I was confused on what the mesh sheet was for; I'm assuming it was to keep worms from penetrating through the bottom tray...at least that's what I'm using it for. Love it so far, and my worms are thriving like a boss. Seems to be made well and doesn't take up much room. Can't wait to harvest some of those castings and to brew up some worm tea.

The VermiHut works great so far for the few months that I've had it. I haven't harvested any castings yet as I continue to feed the worms while adding trays. I'm currently up to 3 trays. This is a difficult product to review because I think that results will vary greatly by each individual's experience with the worms. The product itself is great...however the worms don't consume nearly as much as I thought they would.
This kit comes bundled with one Worm Farming Moisture Meter and one Worm Farming pH Meter to help you keep your worms out of danger. Nothing can put your worms at more risk than extreme bin conditions! Our meters each have a 9" probe that you stick into your worm bin to measure the bin's moisture/pH content.
